Since starting this blog hop, I have had so much regarding literature floating around in my head. I think I may have finally discovered how we can joyfully keep a book journal.... all of us!
We need to combine our love of reading....with our creativity!
There is definitely the store bought option...
or the handmade option....
Check out how Tricia Alexander made these "book" journals! Talk about creative! All of her handmade journals are so lovely!
And I love the idea of a journal full of my favorite book quotes!
So what if we took all of these creative ideas and combined them with some typical book journal prompts? And what if we added mini-books or other lapbook elements to our book journal? Homeschool Share has a ton of free printables on lots of different children's book. Going back to a Day 2's post, they even have free printables to go along with Five In A Row!
I see our book journals becoming a lovely work of self expression combined with rich literature. I can't wait to get started on ours! Have you got a lovely book journal that you would like to share? What makes your, or your children's, book journal really enjoyable? Do your children look forward to making entries in their book journal?
Can't wait to hear from you! Enjoy your blog hopping!

In case your site meter tells you that you had a stalker, let me admit that I have this page glued open for me to come back and deeply read later. I LOVE this!
Bwahahahaha! As if I would be so flattered to have a blog stalker! ;o)
